While TikTok is the next big form of social media, would you rely on a trend within the app to promote your business? In this Super Bowl add TurboTax hopes to gain customers by showing how easy it is to do their taxes, but what most of the viewers might not know is the dance that every actor in the commercial is doing is from the social media app TikTok. You would think spending millions of dollars on ads they would have a more well known base of the commercial not just a dance some millennials with the app know about.
